First birthday party!

Tomorrow is the kid's very first birthday party. This thing has been blown way out of proportion. I did everything that moms are not supposed to do because they won't know what's going on anyway. 

Suggestions for throwing a baby's first birthday party:

1. Keep it small (nope...he has about 65 guests)

2. Stay within budget (there's no way...not with 65 guests!!)

3. Plan around nap time (technically, he doesn't have a set nap time. So let's hope we get lucky!)

4. Plan a theme (ehhhh...kinda sorta. It's a cross between elephants...that turned into safari because of lack of elephant only decorations...and the ny Yankees because his daddy got him a personalized jersey that MUST be worn on his birthday)

5. Hire a photographer (nope, spending all our money on the food. So we'll rely on our guests to take the photos)

6. Get crafty (who has time to get crafty!?? Are you kidding me? Nope)

7. Have fun and relax (let's hope!)

But really, I don't know what I'm doing, so I'm kind of winging it. I know, rookie mom mistake!
